X-SERIES MKII
FUSION X-SERIES WINGS
Building Your Foil
Foiling is one of the most diverse watersports. From using the power of waves, wind or yourself to propel you above the water, there are so many ways to enjoy this unique feeling. Each aspect is different, each rider is different, so we offer a modular approach to building a foil to allow you to build what you need, just how you want it.
Choose your Front Wing
The front wing is the most integral part of the foil setup, and defines the feel and direction of your experience. We offer 3 different collections of front wings to suit all levels and disciplines of foiling.
X Series MKII: Maneuverability, versatility, stability.
H:Series: High Speed Maneuverability.
H: Series MKII: Glide, Efficiency, performance.
Choose your Stabilizer
The stabilizer provides directional control and stability to your set up. Do not be afraid to mix and match between styles, and experiment to find out what works best for you. General rule of thumb, smaller stabilizers are more maneuverable and less stable, larger stabilizers offer more stability and a locked in riding feel.
V Series: Perfect for whatever style. 180 for a loose fast ride, the NEW 200, 230 for all round and 285 for the ultimate stability.
H180: The HS180 High aspect stabilizer has been seamlessly molded as one single component into the fuselage to give exceptional efficiency and stiffness.
Choose your Fuselage
The Length of the fuselage can completely unlock the next level of performance in your Hydrofoiling Experience. With multiple sizing options available, a short fuselage is for increased maneuverability, a longer fuselage will provide more stability.
Multiple Lengths to suit your riding style (only applicable with X and V Series Stabilizers).
- 276 mm: Excellent maneuverability (Available in Alloy)
- 346mm: All round performance and reliable stability (Available in Alloy or Carbon)
- 416mm: Maximum stability (Available in Alloy)
Choose your Mast
The backbone of the hydrofoil system is the mast. With two different material options and a range of sizes, we have a mast to match every riders ability, preference, and foiling discipline.
Fusion Carbon Mast Hollow: Superior Technical Design. Lightweight, High speed profile, and maximum response.
Sizes: 74cm, 84cm, 94cm
Fusion Alloy Mast MKII: The Versatile System. Durability, stiffness and accessibility.
Sizes: 40cm, 65cm, 75cm, 85cm
Two plate options are also available for the Fusion Alloy Mast. The standard Fusion Alloy Top Plate, or the quick connecting FQR system.
Choose your Mast Length
The final link in the chain is deciding on the mast length you need. Sport, location and ability all play a key roll in this step, but with many options available, there is something to suit all styles.
Sizes:
65cm: Surf Foil / Wing Foil
74/75cm: Wing Foil / Surf Foil / Kite Foil
84/85cm: Wing Foil / Surf Foil / Kite Foil / Tow Foil
94/95cm: Wing Foil / Kite Foil / Tow Foil
When we introduced the X-Series wings, we took Cabrinha’s foil program to a whole new level. Through working alongside SINTEF and the University of Norway where we were able to fully breakdown and simulate hydrofoil performance in the world's largest cavitation tank. From this we have been able to further evolve the X-Series into the industry’s leading all round hydrofoil. Early lift, but with a high top speed has been achieved, and through refined tip shape and profile, you are able to break the tips free, but still be ready to carve into your next turn.

Front wing, wing covers.

Key Features
LOOSE AND AGILE
Through refined profiles, moderate aspect ratio and an all new wingtip shape, the X-Series MkII is the ultimate foil for maneuverability, no matter the board or sport you do.
ALL AROUND LEAN PROFILE
The all around lean profile still maintains the forgiving low-end that the X-Series is known for, but now boasts an increased speed range.
FEELING TIPSEY
The all new tip design allows you to be able to free the tips in a turn, but be confident that the foil will re-enter without cavitation. This is one specific area of research & testing undertaken at the SINTEF facility.
TAPERED FIT
The ergonomic tapered connection between the fuselage and mast provides the ultimate in rigidity, while still being easy to assemble and disassemble.
TORSIONAL STIFFNESS
Through the use of a PMI core and the layered Pre Preg carbon sheets, the H-Series MKII sets a new benchmark for hydrofoil torsional stiffness.
MEDIUM AR
The medium aspect ratio design allows for early lift and a stable forgiving ride.
The brass through bolt adds torsional stiffness to the wing/mast connection point, providing increased response during turns or while pumping, especially on the larger size front wings.
Pre coated carbon sheets allow for an extremely accurate level of resin absorption. Combined with an exclusive interweave design that follows the shape and profile of the wings, you have unparallel levels of torsional stiffness and reflex response.
The modularity of the CAB Fusion system allows you to seamlessly interchange between any of the X-Series and H-Series front wings and stabilizers.
