Fast, faster, fastest: Rob Douglas wins NASSI
Congratulations to our speed champion Rob Douglas for taking home the win at the North American Speed Sailing Invitational in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
During the fastest port tack run in speed sailing history, Rob showed the audience what it is like speed sailing in 56 knots max gust and winds averaging 40 knots. Rob managed a 50.2 knots average over 250 meters and 53.8 knots top speed.
