Explosive times at the Kitesurfing Armada!

As kite events go the Kitesurfing Armada on Hayling Island, UK has to be right up there.  This past weekend the Cabrinha family represented in style and with a bang!  This year celebrates 100 years of the RAF (Royal Air Force) in the UK and so Cabrinha showed off an air show of it's own to the crowds of kitesurfers, who enjoyed a packed weekend of kitesurfing, fine weather and music.

Nick Jacobsen was there bringing his eclectic daredevil skills to the party by performing a tow up to entertain the crowds on the beach.

Also at the event arriving in from Cabrinha's head office on Maui, Hawaii was Pete Cabrinha keen to sample one of the UK's premiere kite spots and a community of avid kitesurfers.

Pete's daughter, Tahiti also was in attendance and wowed the crowd by spontaneously getting up on stage and singing a few songs to the public who enjoyed a fabulous weekend of music and british weather to go with it.

The sense of community and fun has always been at the centre of the British kitesurfing community and the Aramada epitomised that completely.  Pro's from all brands came together to inspire all the youngsters who were also competing at the British Championships, held at the same time. From all at Cabrinha, thank you for having us and we look forward to returning next year!
